We appreciate that it may be a little daunting to have a baby in a country where you maybe don’t speak the language fluently. Our course includes information about the German health system and what care and support you are entitled to, as well as the more traditional topics such as breathing, relaxation techniques and how to prepare for the birth.
Ideally this course should be booked for between 8 – 10 weeks before your due date. Please note that this is exclusively a partner* course.
- When: 09:30 - 17:00 h on both days
- Location: Albertinen Elternzentrum, Süntelstr. 11a, 22457 Hamburg
- Cost: Your state health insurance or private health insurance covers the costs as the pregnant person | 150 € for partners*
This course is run by English native speakers and Albertinen midwives Stephanie Christiano (US) and Charlotte Maguire (UK).
